Biographical Information

"Aamer is founder of Indus Basin Holding, a leading investor, developer, and operator of high-growth agribusiness projects.

"Aamer has worked with Tigris Financial Group since 2006, where he is closely involved in the group’s partnerships and investments across the Middle East and Asia. Tigris is one of the most successful private investors in natural resources worldwide, particularly in gold and precious metals mining, with over $1billion of its own capital deployed. Previously, Aamer worked in private equity firms Ithmar Capital and 3i venture capital.

"Aamer holds an MSc (with Distinction) from the London School of Economics & Political Science, and a BSBA from Boston University’s School of Management. As an undergraduate student, he developed the intellectual property for digital receipt technology, which he sold to Intellectual Ventures. He is member of the President's Circle at the Baylor College of Medicine." [1]
