The African Center for Advocacy and Human Development describes itself as "an independent, non-governmental organization that was established in January, 2002 to reflect the general needs of African people."[1]

Global warming

In 2009, the center was a co-sponsor of the Heartland Institute's 2009 conference for climate change skeptics.[2]
