Alan Evans
Alan Evans is the President of the National Roads and Motorists Association (NRMA).
Evans was previously the chief executive of Medicines Australia (previously known as the Australian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Association).
After finishing with Medicines Australia Evans in late 2002 established his own consultancy, Strategic Consulting Services. He was subesquently listed as an Associate of the Sydney PR and lobby shop Jackson Wells Morris. "Alan bolsters Jackson Well Morris capabilities with extensive experience in government, politics and industry at senior level," his JWM profile stated.[1]
The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Evan's consulting company was contracted to JWM.[2] However, since has appointment to the NRMA his profile no longer appears on the JWM site. In September 2006, JWM partner Keith Jackson wrote that "the relationship ended before his election as chairman. As was proper." [3]
