Andrew Andrea is the Head of Communications for the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue.

"Studied History and Politics before practicing as a lobbyist in a London based Parliamentary Consultancy. He then worked for ActionAid on international communication products and strategies before becoming an adviser to several development charities. In 1995, he joined UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) to set-up and implement the Reliefweb information system co-ordinating information on natural disasters and complex emergencies. Before joining the HD Centre in February 2000, he worked with the World Health Organisation (WHO) to design the Health Information Network for Advanced Planning and other emergency related information tools and systems."[1]
