Biographical Information

"Andrew Grossman brings 25 years of political experience to his work, with a unique combination of senior management skills, cutting-edge communications tactics and fundamental campaign know-how.

"Grossman founded and served as Executive Director of Wal-Mart Watch, a new model of non-profit advocacy, to challenge the worst business practices of the world’ s largest corporation. He served as the Director of Polling and Targeting for America Coming Together (ACT) during the 2004 general election campaign. In this capacity, Grossman became one of the Democratic Party’ s leading experts on the use and power of data and polling in determining voter behavior and its applications for all aspects of campaign planning, including paid media, voter contact and persuasion. From 1999-2003 Grossman led the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, first as Political Director and then as Executive Director. Through his management of this $100 million organization, Grossman honed a sophisticated understanding of campaign finance and election law, media strategy and buying, the mechanics and potential of coordinated campaigns, the operation of the national political committees and the Washington connection for campaigns and candidates.

"Grossman has extensive experience leading a wide array of local, state and national campaigns in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, New Hampshire and California. He has managed a number of campaigns, held senior campaign management positions in the New York and New Jersey Democratic Parties, and has been a leader in the development of the coordinated campaign.

"Andrew Grossman currently serves as the President of the Health Information Campaign, an organization founded in 2010 to educate the public about the Affordable Care Act. Other clients of Grossman Solutions have included the National Partnership for Women and Families, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Ballot Initiative Strategy Center, Wal-Mart Watch, Bill Thompson for Mayor of New York City, the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, SEIU, America Votes and Unity ‘ 09.

"Grossman has been a featured speaker on panels for C-Span, the Hotline, Natural Expo West, American Enterprise Institute and many others. He has appeared frequently on CNBC, Fox News, CNN and dozens of radio call-in programs.

"A graduate of Colby College, Grossman earned his BA in government. He serves on the National Advisory Board of the Council for a Livable World and on the Washington Advisory Board of the Goldfarb Center for Public Policy at Colby College."[1]
