Antonio Carvalho "joins the Congo Global Action coalition with extensive international experience spanning Africa, Europe and the Americas. Over the last three decades, Antonio has lived, studied and worked in his motherland Cape Verde, Senegal, Portugal, France, Spain, and the United States. He is fluent in Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian and English. Antonio has spent the last ten years working beyond international borders in education, international relations and corporate affairs. As Attach to the Ambassador of Cape Verde to the United States from 2001-2006, Antonio was entrusted with the Embassy's external, government and international relations and operations. Recently head hunted into the private sector, Antonio managed commercial and public relations for Natural Source International, Ltd with South American governments and corporations in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela. Antonio earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lake Forest College, Illinois with a double major in French and Spanish and a Master of Arts degree from the American Graduate School of International Relations and Diplomacy in Paris, France."
