Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani "is Chairman of Mondoil Corporation, a privately-held company active in international oil and gas operations. Between 1988 and 1996, he was President of Apache International, Inc., prior to which he served as Assistant Director for International Energy Studies, Energy and Environmental Policy Center, Harvard University. A former delegate to OPEC Ministerial Conferences, Mr. Mossavar-Rahmani has published more than ten books and dozens of articles on global energy markets. His books include OPEC and the World Oil Outlook, Natural Gas in Western Europe, Energy Security Revisited, The OPEC Natural Gas Dilemma and Competition and Realignment in Global Energy Markets. Mr. Mossavar-Rahmani is active in industry and international affairs, and has served as a Member of the International Consultative Group on the Middle East, Director of Citizens Corporation, Director of the U.S.-Angola Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Council of the International Executive Services Corps, Chairman of the Board of Foxtrot International LDC, Member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Offshore Magazine, Member of the Corporate Advisory Board of the Eurasia Group and Director of The Persepolis Foundation. He holds degrees from Princeton and Harvard Universities and is a Commandeur de l’Ordre National de la Cote d’Ivoire." [1]
