Biographical Information

"Brian Goldner is President and Chief Executive Officer of Hasbro, Inc., a $4 billion leader in children’s and family leisure time entertainment products and services. Since joining the Company in 2000, Mr. Goldner has held a series of progressively more responsible leadership positions, including most recently, Chief Operating Officer, and has been a key force in transitioning Hasbro into one of the industry’s most successful and profitable companies.

"Mr. Goldner has led Hasbro’s movement into movie production and drove the formation of a 50-50 joint venture with Discovery Communications to create a television network and web-site dedicated to high quality children’s and family entertainment and educational content. Mr. Goldner has also been instrumental in formulating the Company’s digital strategy, highlighted by a long-term strategic alliance with Electronic Arts, Inc.

"In addition to being a member of Hasbro’s Board of Directors, Mr. Goldner sits on the boards of the Toy Industry Association (TIA), The Miriam Hospital, in Providence, RI, and Hole in the Wall Camps.

"Prior to joining Hasbro, Mr. Goldner held a number of management positions including, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Bandai America, Worldwide Director in Charge of the LA office of J. Walter Thompson, and Vice President and Account Director in the Chicago office of Leo Burnett Advertising.

"He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Executive Education Program at the Amos Tuck School." [1]
