Carlos Odora with Africa Fighting Malaria (AFM), a pro-DDT advocacy group. A biographical note states that Odora "was appointed an AFM Fellow in 2006. His academic background covers the natural sciences and his previous experience is in indigenous agricultural technology development. He is based in Kampala, Uganda, where he researches and writes on East African malaria control policies and coordinates AFM's regional advocacy and social mobilization efforts."[1]
