Liberal Advocacy Organizations is a category to list and track organizations and individuals aligned with the liberal wing of the Democratic Party and that engage in or fund public relations, lobby or issue advocacy campaigns to influence public policy and/or elections in the United States. These groups often work together, share funders, staff and consultants, and have especially arisen in the wake of Rob Stein's efforts to catalyze and build an infrastructure on the liberal Democratic side that mimics the powerful think think tanks and structures of the Republican right going back to the ascendancy of President Ronald Reagan.
