Chuck Conconi is a former journalist turned PR consultant who presents Focus Washington, "an online television series that analyzes complex policy issues in entertaining 5-minute to 8-minute Webisodes. The program highlights unique Washington power-figures and their influence and knowledge on government processes."[1]

A biographical note states that "With more than 40 years experience in television, radio and print journalism, veteran journalist Chuck Conconi currently works at Qorvis Communications as senior counselor. Prior to Qorvis, Conconi worked for The Washingtonian for 14 years as editor-at-large and 13 years at The Washington Post as an editor in the “Style” section. Conconi originally came to Washington to work for the Evening Star, where he covered the District Building and the civil rights movement, including the assassination of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., and the “Poor People’s Campaign,” King planned to lead on Washington. Between working for The Star and The Post, Conconi was Wisconsin Senator Gaylord Nelson’s press secretary."[2]

"Conconi has co-written two books - The Energy Balloon, written with former Kennedy/Johnson Interior Secretary Stewart Udall and energy expert David Osterhout; and The Washington Sting, written with the late Supreme Court press spokeswoman Toni House. He has worked extensively on radio and television in the Washington area, serving as commentator and sometimes co-host on networks including Al Arabiya News Channel, WTTG, DC’s FOX television affiliate and the local News Channel 8, as well as various radio affiliates," it states.[2]

"Conconi has appeared on a multitude of national news shows and just about every Washington channel at one time or another, serving as NBC affiliate’s commentator for the funeral of Princess Diana, as well as “Inside Edition” and “Good Morning Great Britain” commentator on the President Clinton sex scandal. He has appeared on CNN International and in a number of foreign locations, including Italy, Canada, Singapore, Switzerland, Spain, New Zealand, Hong Kong, France, Germany and Austria," it states.[2]

"Conconi has taught courses at the University of Maryland, as well as lectured at the Smithsonian Institution, Georgetown University, American University, GW University and the University of Miami in Florida," it states.[2]
