Citizens Lead for Energy Action Now (CLEAN) is group of clean power and coal-related grassroots groups facilitated by the nonprofit and nonpartisan Civil Society Institute (CSI). The organizations involved in CLEAN promote a national "call to action" on U.S. energy policy. They advocate phasing out fuels, technologies, and practices that contribute to global warming, and are lobbying the U.S. government to take action to stop global warming and climate change.
