David Haslingden "is Chief Executive Officer of National Geographic Channels International (NGCI). Based out of National Geographic's headquarters in Washington, D.C., he is responsible for NGCI's global operations in Europe, Asia, India, Australia, the Middle East, Canada, Latin America and Africa, where NGCI reaches more than 160 million homes in 143 countries and in 25 languages. David is also Chief Operating Officer of Fox International Channels (FIEC), responsible for all of the cable and satellite television channels owned by the Fox Entertainment Group outside of the United States of America. David holds a Master's of Law degree from Cambridge University in England, a Bachelors degree in Law, and a Bachelors degree in Arts from Sydney University in Australia. He moved to Washington with his wife Alexa and two daughters in 1999 after living in Hong Kong for 6 years. He was born on a sheep farm in Southern New South Wales, Australia." [1]
