Biographical Information

"Donald J. Abrams is the former Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary at the Population Council where he served for almost two decades. In his tenure there, Mr. Abrams revamped budgeting and reporting processes, directed the organization’s transition to computers, and oversaw the investment management and policies for its endowment fund during a period of strong growth. Prior to joining the nonprofit sector he held financial positions at Bristol-Myers and Merck. He is an independent consultant and a director on several boards of directors in both New York and Florida. Mr. Abrams has an MBA in finance from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a BA in economics from Queens College." [1]
