Lt. General Donald L. Cromer "has served as a director of Global Crossing since December 2003. He currently acts as a consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense, the United States Air Force and the following companies: The Boeing Company, Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. (a strategy and technology consulting firm) and the Institute for Defense Analysis. He has been a trustee of Aerospace Corporation since January 2002 and a board member of Draper Laboratory, Inc. (a not-for-profit laboratory for applied research, engineering development, education, and technology transfer). He also serves on the boards of the following private companies: Universal Space Network, Vadium, Inc., and Innovative Intelcom Industries. He is also affiliated with the California Space Authority and serves as a member of Aeronautics and Space Engineering Board of the National Research Council. General Cromer's military career in the Air Force spanned 32 years. He retired in 1991 as the Commander of Space Division, Los Angeles, CA (the satellite, missile and launch vehicle acquisition center for the Air Force). Subsequent to his retirement, he joined Hughes Space and Communications Company and served as president from 1993 to 1998." [1]
