Eleanor Hayes has been a reporter with Ohio News Network (ONN) since June, 2005. [1]

"She worked for six years at WJW-TV (FOX) in Cleveland, during which time she served as a weekend anchor and subsequently became the first assigned co-anchor for the 5pm newscast. After moving on from WJW, she worked as a freelance program host at Cleveland PBS affiliate WVIZ-TV for the Women’s Health Series. Eleanor also held anchor positions at WISN-TV (ABC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and ACN-TV (Adelphia Cable) in Ashtabula, Ohio. In 1993, she stepped away from television to own and operate three McDonald's franchises. She sold the restaurants ten years later, when she desired to return to the television news business," her biographical profile states. [2]

"A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Eleanor graduated from Oberlin College with a double major in Communications and Political Science. She also studied at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and the Instituto de Tecnologico in Monterrey, Mexico. Eleanor’s work in the television industry earned her top awards, including three EMMY awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. She also received national NABJ, UPI and AP reporting honors and was a 2003 inductee into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame," it states. [3]
