Equitas "offers pro-bono forensic and psychosocial services to the relatives of missing individuals, for both humanitarian and legal purposes. Our mission is to aid the families of the disappeared by all of Colombia's armed actors. EQUITAS supports families in their right to know what happened to their loved ones and to recover their remains, so that relatives can carry out mourning and funeral rituals according to their culture and religion, as well as pursue judicial processes." Listed as a partner organization of the International Center for Transitional Justice.
