The ExxonMobil Foundation "is the primary channel for contributions to charitable organizations in the U.S. Exxon Mobil Corporation also makes some direct charitable contributions. Grant seekers need not apply to both, as all requests are considered for support by both the Foundation and the Corporation. These include grants to support environmental research and education, programs encouraging informed public discussion of sound environmental policy alternatives and the study and preservation of endangered species and habitats."
