Ezzadin Alasbahi "is the founder and Director of the Human Rights Information and Training Center (HRITC) in Yemen. He is the regional coordinator of the International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA) and has been an editor in the Media Investigations Department of Al-Gumhuryah daily newspaper since 1985. Ezzadin is the deputy President of the Yemeni Writers Association, and has been the General Director of ‘Our Rights’ magazine since 1998—the first Yemeni magazine to specialize in human rights issues.

"Ezzadin is a member of numerous associations and syndicates, including: the Yemeni Journalists’ Syndicate, the Arab Writers Association, Arab Journalists’ Union and Arab Organization for Human Rights. Ezzadin is a founding member of Amnesty International Groups in Yemen, and the first coordinator of these groups in Taiz in 1991." [1]
