Farallon Capital Management, LLC is a global investment firm founded in 1986 by Thomas Steyer[1], currently headquartered in San Francisco, California[2] and incorporated in Delaware. According to the company's website, "Farallon seeks to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns through a process of fundamental, bottom-up analysis. Farallon invests globally, focusing on developed and emerging markets alike. We make investments in public and private debt and equity securities, and direct investments in private companies and real estate."[3] Farallon manages $21.5 billion in assets.[4]

Ties to Pete Peterson's "Fix the Debt"
