Felipe Cruz, Director of Technical Assistance, Charles Darwin Foundation.

"Galapagos-native Felipe Cruz is the leader of CDF’s team that provides advice and supports building of institutional and individual capacities for conservation and sustainable development. Most recently, Mr. Cruz was the technical director for Project Isabela, a joint project with the Galapagos National Park aimed at the ecological restoration of Northern Isabela.

"Mr. Cruz’s previous professional experience includes several years as a naturalist guide in Galapagos. From ‘91 to ‘92, he worked with the Galapagos National Park as head of protection and later as deputy director from ‘93 to ‘94. Mr. Cruz has represented the Galapagos National Park and the Charles Darwin Foundation in many international forums, including the prestigious UNESCO World Heritage Committee. Currently he is a member of CDF’s General Assembly and WildAid Foundation’s board of directors." [1]
