Fred and Mary Koch Foundation

The Fred and Mary Koch Foundation was established in 1953 and describes itself as focusing "its resources on not-for-profit organizations in Kansas that significantly enhance the state’s quality of life through arts, environmental stewardship, human services, enablement of at-risk youth, and education."[1] It is named after Fred C. Koch and Mary Robinson Koch, the parents of the billionaire Koch brothers.

Finances

In its 2012 IRS 990 filing, the Fred and Mary Koch Foundation reported revenue of $2.6 million and expenses of $2.1 million, along with assets of $31 million.[2]
