Glenda Burkhart "is a skilled professional in the area of large-scale organizational change. She has experience as a senior corporate executive, a senior executive in a non-profit organization and consulting at the highest levels. Ms. Burkhart was the Senior Vice President for Readers' Digest Association, where she ran Human Resources and Strategic Planning; Corporate Vice President for Millipore Corporation, where she ran Human Resources, Strategic Planning, and Corporate Marketing; Director of Organizational Development for Exxon Chemical, as well as numerous other executive marketing and planning positions. She was the Vice President of Planning and Operations for the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations and planning. In these roles, she was responsible for development and execution of integrated restructuring plans and programs.

"Ms. Burkhart’s background in consulting includes Bain and Company, and currently she works as an independent consultant. Her recent consulting experience includes the restructuring of British Airways North America Sales and Marketing; the restructuring of the Human Capital organization at the NY City Department of Education; integrating the worldwide information technology organizations of Exxon and Mobil; and, the US-wide roll-out and subsequent effort to affect policy from the research of William G. Bowen and Derek Bok regarding race-sensitive admissions policies in colleges and universities, The Shape of the River, Long-Term Consequences of Considering Race in College and University Admissions. She has extensive international experience.

"She co-chairs the Board of Directors for the Women's Refugee Commission. She chairs the Board of Directors for the Northwest Connecticut Center for Family Service and Mental Health, sits on the boards of EMERITI Retirement Health Solutions, and Dexter Hospitality and is on the Board of Overseers for the International Rescue Committee.
