The Global Catalyst Foundation "is a private foundation established by the principals of Global Catalyst Partners, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm. Its mission is to improve peoples' lives through the effective application of information technologies. The Foundation initiates and supports innovative projects worldwide to improve education, alleviate poverty, promote social tolerance and celebrate diversity." [1]

  • 2001: "Global Fund for Women - Brazil: Website design and construction for philanthropy related to 13 women's groups from around the world." [2]
  • 2002: "Afghan Institute of Learning - Afghanistan: The Afghan Institute of Learning will establish the Herat Training Centre to provide Afghan women and girls access to computers and training that lead to their long-term educational, economic, and socio-political empowerment." [3]
