He is chairman of the Emergency Committee for American Trade (ECAT), a former chairman of Business Roundtable (Aug. 2006-June 2009), a board member of the United States Council for International Business and a member of the Business Council. He is a member of the U.S. Trade Representative's Advisory Committee for Trade, Policy and Negotiations (ACTPN).
