Harvey Klehr

Harvey Klehr "is the Andrew W. Mellon Professor of politics and history at Emory University. He has authored numerous books and articles, including In Denial: Historians, Communism and Espionage, The Secret World of American Communism, and Venona: Decoding Soviet Espionage in America. Three of Mr. Klehr's books have been nominated for Pulitzer Prizes. His awards include the Emory Williams Teaching Award, Emory University Scholar-Teacher of the Year, and the Thomas Jefferson Award. He has also led NEH summer seminars on the topics of "Intellectuals and Communism" and "Communism and American Life." Mr. Klehr received his B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and his Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill." [1]
