Hendershot, Burkhardt and Reed is a Virginia tax preparer used by many groups opposed to government regulation. Among the groups using this tax preparer are:

- Competitive Enterprise Institute
- Concerned Christians for America
- Environmental Health Research Foundation
- Frontiers of Freedom (e.g. 2006)
- American Friends of the Institute for Economic Affairs (a 501(c)(3) set up to let U.S. citizens donate to the U.K.-based Institute for Economic Affairs, which is associated with Buckingham University, which has ties to the Global Warming Policy Foundation)
