The Interchurch Organisation for Development Co-operation, ICCO was founded in 1964 and is "active in 53 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.

"ICCO provides support to enterprising people all over the world. Initiatives that promote peace and further the cause of democracy can count on our support. We help people to build up a dignified existence and achieve economic independence." [1]
