Biographical Information

"Ian Christie is an independent researcher, writer and advisor on sustainable development and environmental issues. He is an associate of the think-tank Green Alliance and a visiting professor at the Centre for Environmental Strategy, University of Surrey. His previous roles include joint head of environment and economy at Surrey County Council; advisory work for Government Departments and public agencies; commercial consultancy for the Henley Centre for Forecasting; social research as a fellow of the Policy Studies Institute; and deputy/acting director of the think-tank Demos."[1]
