The Institute for Media Analysis is a non-profit organization which "was established in 1986 with the primary purpose of providing to the public educational materials relating to the workings of government and of the media, and in particular the relations between the two." [1]

History

IMA has published CovertAction Quarterly (publication suspended at present), Lies Of Our Times (ceased publication) and organised a conference at Harvard University Anti-Communism and American Life.

IMA has also acted as a fiscal sponsor for projects including Democracy Now! and the Center for Non-Profit Technology.
