Jack W. Martin "formed his own lobbying firm, Walker Martin & Hatch, which testifies on FDA on behalf of clients that include Bayer Healthcare, Bio-Technology General Corporation, GlaxoSmithKline, and Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America." [1]

Jack Martin, "a veteran" of Senator Orrin Hatch's Senate staff," is partnered with Hatch's son Scott D. Hatch and Laird Walker, "another longtime associate of the senator, [who] became the third partner." [2]

Martin, also a former Associate Commissioner for Public Affairs at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, later was vice president for federal relations at Parry Romani & DeConcini, and a "registered lobbyist" for Abbott Laboratories, American Home Products, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Glaxo-Wellcome, Hoechst Marion Roussel, ICN Pharmaceuticals, Interneuron Pharmaceuticals, Metagenics, Monsanto, Pfizer Inc., Pharmacia & Upjohn, Schering-Plough, and SmithKline Beecham.
