FY2008 budget

In June 2007, Rep. Jordan introduced an amendment aimed at reducing the spending in the Energy-Water appropriations bill. The measure would have cut $1.3 billion of the $31.6 billion bill (H.R. 2641), bringing appropriations back to the fiscal 2007 levels. Democrats, however, successfully voted down the amendment.
