"John O’Brien is a highly reputed campaigner within business, government and the charitable sectors. He has created a wide range of philanthropic campaigns and worked extensively with various UK Governments on partnerships to benefit key issue in the UK and overseas. John has founded several national and international programmes, including many under the patronage of HRH The Prince of Wales. These include a Cumbria response to the 2000 Foot and Mouth crisis; the Prince of Wales’s North East fishing community initiative; The Muslim-led Mosaic Network and The Mosaic international youth summit; The Prince of Wales’s Pakistan Recovery Fund and The National Industrial Cadet initiative. He is the founder of The Jubilee Hour, recognised as the largest collective mobilisation of volunteers in the UK since World War Two with two million participants. John is also is co-founder of REMEMBER WW1, part of the UK’s national commemoration of The First World War."[1]
