Juan Carlos Iturregui
Juan Carlos Iturregui joined Quinn Gillespie & Associates in April 2003.
According to the biographical note on the company website he "specializes in domestic and international congressional, regulatory and policy issues. He lobbies on both Capital Hill and in various Latin American countries for trade, tax and finance, infrastructure development, and appropriations issues." [1]
According to the biographical note prior to joining Quinn Gillespie & Associates he was a Senior Director of Governmental Affairs at Hunton & Williams and held "various other trade, legislative, and legal positions, including Executive Director of Puerto Rico's Regional Trade Office in Santiago, Chile and Legislative Counsel to Representative Carlos Romero-Barcelo (P.R.).".
The Hill reported that his role prior to joining Quinn Gillespie & Associates he "directed Latin American affairs at the firm Verner Liipfert Bernhard McPherson & Hand, and he was executive director of Puerto Rico's Regional Trade Office in Santiago, Chile, for two years in the mid-1990s." [2]
"Mr. Iturregui, a native or Puerto Rico, is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association International Law Section and the Board of Governors and Founder's Circle of the Hispanic National Bar Association. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts and his J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law," his biographical note states.
