Use of Video News Releases and/or Satellite Media Tours

In the 5pm news bulletin on January 25, 2006 the station broadcast an edited video news release (VNR) produced by Medialink Worldwide for Siemens AG on 'advances' in ethanol. The Medialink publicist's voiceover was retained. [1]

In the 5pm news bulletin on March 16, 2006 the station broadcast an uncut version of a video news release produced by Medialink Worldwide designed to help General Motors Corporation recruit young mechanics. [2]
