"Until 2015, Ms Jestin led the philanthropic activities of the private bank Lombard Odier as the Secretary General of Fondation Lombard Odier and member of the board of Fondation Philanthropia, an umbrella foundation facilitating clients' philanthropic engagements.

Having started her career in 1993 as strategic management consultant at McKinsey & Company in Paris, Ms Jestin joined the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies as special advisor to the Secretary General, coordinating the implementation of a worldwide change initiative. She then supported community development in the Middle East and North Africa region. Following that, she worked as Director at FSG Social Impact Advisors, a non-profit consulting group."[1]

Karin Jestin is a director of FSG and has "significant experience both in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Karin began her career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company working on a variety of assignments for both nonprofits and corporations on the topics of strategy, organization, and operations. Prior to joining FSG, Karin also worked for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, coordinating the implementation of a worldwide change initiative. She also served as a senior officer, supporting community development and disaster preparedness efforts in the Middle East and North Africa regions.

"Karin holds an M.A. in International Management from HEC, and has done graduate work at both Stern School of Management at New York University and the University Luigi Bocconi, Milano, Italy.

"Karin is fluent in French, Italian, German, and English."[1]
