Lisa McGirr "is associate professor of history at Harvard University where she teaches twentieth-century U.S. history. Her most recent book, Suburban Warriors: The Origins of the New American Right (2001), examines the national Right's rise from the grassroots. Her current research is focused on the 1920s, revisiting the Sacco-Vanzetti case as well as writing a social and cultural history of national prohibition." [1]
