Biographical Information

"Liz Rivers is a speaker, writer and educator on the subject of Wild Law and Rights of Nature. She is a member of the Executive Committee of Wild Law UK. Formerly a commercial lawyer with global law firm Eversheds, she currently works with organisations to enhance their collaboration and leadership capacities, using the tools of mediation and coaching. She has pioneered awareness about Wild Law in the UK since 2004, working in collaboration with Cormac Cullinan, the UK Environmental Law Association, the Gaia Foundation and Schumacher College and she was invited to Australia in 2009 to be the keynote speaker at their first Wild Law conference. Liz is one of the authors of “Exploring Wild Law: the Philosophy of Earth Jurisprudence” and has written numerous articles on the subject."[1]
