"The London Community Foundation is not a traditional grantmaking trust or foundation. Rather, it is a collective of citizens, companies, public bodies and existing trusts who believe that they will achieve more working together than each could alone. LCF is the meeting place for many different donors, private and public, with differing interests and areas of concerns. Our mission is to act as a catalyst for social change in London.

"Some donors use us like an account – they know the groups they want to support and we provide administrative back up. But the majority use us for the knowledge and reach we provide into small grassroots charities and groups that don’t access mass public support.

"Our fund holders include: Deutsche Bank, PwC, Russell Investments, Man Group Charitable Trust, Land Securities, JP Morgan, The Evening Standard, Affinity Sutton Housing Association, Comic Relief, Anglo American, Rolls Royce, Deptford Challenge Trust, Columbia Foundation and Office for Civil Society."
