Lorillard Tobacco Company is an American cigarette manufacturer incorporated in Delaware and based in New York at 1 Park Avenue, New York, NY 10016.[1]. Lorillard makes Harley Davidson, Kent, Max, Satin, Newport, Old Gold, Style, Triumph and True brand cigarettes.

Description
The abbreviation for Lorillard Tobacco Company is LTC. As of May 1994, Lorillard was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lorillard, Inc., which was a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Loews Corporation, a conglomerate run by the billionaire Tisch family. [2][3] Loews Corporation took over Lorillard in the late 1960s [4] As of May 1994, the principal subsidiaries of Loews Corp. were: Lorillard Inc., CNA Financial Corp, Loews Hotels Holding Corp., Bulova Corp. and Diamond M-Odeco Drilling Inc. [5]. Lorillard Tobacco Company was represented in the Castano case by Gordon, Arata, McCollam & Duplantis, New Orleans, and Shook, Hardy and Bacon P.C., of Kansas City. Loews divested itself of Lorillard in December 2007 to eliminate the overhang of tobacco litigation. [6]
