Maria is my state representative. I have met and spoken with her at length on several occasions. She strikes me as very bright and energetic. Her life is dedicated to public service; unlike most in the state house, she does not have another job or business, allowing her much more time to work on serving her constituents. With her current (April 2010) school board campaign, she is positioning herself to do even more for the community she loves.
