The Marion City power plant project was listed on 2008 NETL’s “Tracking New Coal-Fired Power Plant” spreadsheet as a proposed 1100 megawatt coal-fired power station proposed by LS Power Development.[1] However, the proposal is not currently being pursued. No permit applications have been submitted.[2]
