Martyn Myer "is a non-executive director of three publicly listed companies; Cogstate Ltd, SP Ausnet Group since 2005 (Singapore Power’s Australian listed subsidiary which owns electricity and gas transmission and distribution assets) and Diversified United Investments Ltd since 1991 (a listed equity investment company). Mr Myer was a director of Coles Myer Ltd from 1996 to 2006.

"In 2000 Mr. Myer helped establish Cogstate Ltd and has been the company’s chairman since that time. Cogstate Ltd is a health software services company focused on the development of its cognitive performance diagnostic testing software product. The main application for this software is the clinical trails market with the world’s largest drug companies, see www.cogstate.com.

"Mr Myer was President of the Howard Florey Institute at Melbourne University 2003-2007 and is now a member of the board of Florey Neuroscience Institutes, which focuses on neuroscience, see www.florey.edu.au;

"Mr Myer is a Vice President of the Myer Foundation and a board member of the Myer Family investment companies. Mr Myer is Chairman of the National Business Leaders Forum for Sustainable Development, a founding Council Member of the Royal Institution of Australia and Trustee of the Telematics Trust.

"Mr. Myer owns and operates a small exclusive (Relais & Chateaux) boutique hotel on Lake Wanaka in the Southern Alps of New Zealand.

"Mr Myer has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Swinburne University in 1980, a Masters of Engineering Science degree from Monash University in 1989 and a Master of Science in Management degree from the Sloan School of Management, Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, USA in 1990." His wife is Louise Myer.
