Matt Porter

Matt Porter "holds a dual-degree in environmental science and law from Murdoch University and is a past president of the Murdoch University Environmental Science Association. He currently works as a lawyer for a leading Australian law firm. In 2006 Matt was part of the first group of 84 Australians trained through Al Gore's climate change leadership program in conjunction with ACF, The Climate Project. The following year he delivered over 60 talks across Australia to community, government, business and educational organizations to help them better understand climate change and what it means to them. Matt is the current chairman of not-for-profit carbon offset company Carbon Neutral and a director of Men of the Trees (WA). Matt also maintains a small mixed-use hobby farm in the hills of Perth and is a co-host of local Perth radio station RTR FM's environment program, Understorey." [1]
