Merton P. Strommen, PhD, "a research psychologist and founder of Search Institute, has conducted more than thirty major research projects on the topics of youth and family, and has published many books and articles. As a Lutheran clergyman, he has also served as a parish pastor, college pastor, national youth director, and the founder of the Youth and Family Institute of Augsburg College." [1]
