Michael L. Davis "is graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC where he received a BA in Political Science and JD from the Howard University School of Law in 1976 and 1979 respectively. Davis attended Oxford University and Holds a certificate in International Law from The Hague Academy in the Netherlands. Davis is also a graduate of The Free University Brussels (VUB) where he received a Masters in International and Comparative Law (LLM) in 1980. Davis completed his Civilian Personnel of Peace-Keeping and Peace-Building Operations training course offered by the International Training Programme for Confilic Management at the Scuola Superiore Sant' Anna di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento in Pisa, Italy

"Davis is a former United States Congressional Intern with Hon. Andrew Young. Michael Davis is a former Senior Advisor to the United States Department of State and United States Delegate to the United Nations Human Rights Commission appointed by U.S. President George Herbert Walker Bush. Davis has been recognized by numerous entities including the California State Assembly which issued a Resolution honoring him for his works.

"Davis is a former Western Regional Director of Amnesty International, USA and the former Executive Director of Transnational Immigration and Refugee Group. He is currently the Executive Director of the Universal Human Rights Network." [1]
