Biographical Information

"Michael is a "planetary citizen," having lived in ten countries and speaking a number of languages. A career in international business and involvement in a several third world development programs and the "human potential" movement, have given him an appreciation of the challenges people around the world face and led to his interest in encouraging positive change on a global basis. As a Unitarian Universalist (UU), he believes strongly in that denomination¹s principles, particularly the "goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all." He has built a network of representatives in UU congregations around the U.S. with interest in reducing the power of corporations to negatively impact society and the environment. The Unitarian Universalists for a Just Economic Community, of which he has been a board member, hosted David Korten at two annual General Assemblies and with UUJEC support, he led the organizing team for the "Navigating the Great Turning Conference" in Columbus, Ohio, a seed event of the growing "Turn to Earth Community.""
