Biographical Information

"Michael has over 40 years’ experience in business and government and has played a lead role in the development and delivery of our mentoring and coaching initiatives. Michael has worked for a range of clients, including Barclays, GIZ, DFID and the World Bank.

"Previously, Michael was the UK trade Commissioner to South Africa and Director of Trade Promotion for the Americas at the UK’s Department for Trade and Industry. He has also worked for Royal Dutch Shell and the Cotton Research Corporation in Malawi. He has worked with all of the countries of the Americas and lived in Africa for 10 years. He graduated from Imperial College London and Cardiff University." [1] [2]

He was appointed the UK trade Commissioner to South Africa in 2002.
