Michael Stulman

Michael Stulman is the Associate Director for Policy and Communications at Africa Action.

A biographical note states that Stulman "joined the Africa Action staff in 2008 to coordinate press relations and policy analysis. He is a former intern with Africa Action and an organizer with experience at the Institute for Policy Studies and the Service Employees International Union. Michael offers expertise on a wide range of subjects, including military programs , HIV/AIDS and climate change in Africa. Currently, he is a contributor to Foreign Policy in Focus and he's been a guest on National Public Radio, Africa Now Radio, Pacifica Radio, Al Jazeera, Voice of America and other media outlets."[1]

It states that Stulman "holds a B.A. in Sociology from Bluffton University in Ohio. While a student, he spent three semesters in Africa, studying in Uganda, Ghana and South Africa. While in Uganda, he was a volunteer with the Mbuya HIV/AIDS Initiative. Michael has also traveled extensively in Rwanda."[1]
