Biographical Information

Sir Nicholas Kenyon "is currently Director of the Barbican Centre. Formerly controller of BBC Proms, prior to this he was controller of BBC Radio 3. He worked for the English Bach Festival and the BBC Music Department, as well as working as a freelance writer on music, and was a music critic on The New Yorker from 1979 to 1982. In 2001 he was award a CBE for his services to music and millennium broadcasting." [1]
